Project Evergreen

Project Evergreen is a nationwide charitable organization driven by volunteers dedicated to restoring and maintaining greenspaces for our health and to keep our communities beautiful. They have two programs - Greencare For Communities and Greencare For Troops.

Greencare For Troops provides complimentary lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal services for veterans, active military personnel, and their families to ease their burdens and improve their quality of life.

Volunteers with Greencare For Communities revitalize greenspaces and have restored almost 200 million square feet of natural spaces since 2008.

Our Soldevilla team has donated our time and expertise to Greencare For Troops since 2018.

In 2021, we mowed the lawn for the pregnant wife, with a toddler, of a veteran serving overseas in the war on terror. We signed up to provide fertilizer treatments, but this case required weekly lawn mowing, which we did at no charge to the veteran's family. We continue to volunteer in our region. Whenever a call comes in, we happily serve.

Homes For Our Troops (HFOT)

Homes For Our Troops is a USA-wide charitable organization with a mission to “build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.”

Soldevilla Lawn & Landscape are donors and have been for several years. The Soldevilla team participates in and helps to fund local events that go straight to their cause.

Compassion

Compassion in Jesus’ name is a child development ministry dedicated to releasing children from poverty. They help support local churches in their efforts to provide holistic care and nutrition to children so they can “learn, grow, play, and dream” through sponsorships and donations.

Soldevilla sponsors children to help provide them with the educational and nutritional support needed to break the cycle of poverty.

Father Bills & MainSpring - Nobody Should Be Homeless

Operating for over 40 years, Father Bill’s & MainSpring has been leading the efforts to prevent and end homelessness in Southern Massachusetts. They provide emergency and permanent housing and case managers to help those struggling obtain the skills and resources to become self-sufficient members of society.

Soldevilla donates a portion of our profits to support their efforts to end homelessness.

Charles River Center

Charles River Center is a local charity dedicated to “empowering and supporting people with developmental disabilities by offering high-quality, individualized opportunities that foster independence and community inclusion.”

They offer educational opportunities, employment opportunities, housing, and physical and mental therapy to adults with disabilities in the Boston MetroWest area. They also provide housing for the disabled community.

Soldevilla donates some of our profits and supports their annual Gala and Fall 5k fundraising events.

Special Olympics Massachusetts

Special Olympics strives to spread and promote inclusion in every town, every city, every school, every workplace, and every community in Massachusetts. The athletes, coaches, and volunteers of Special Olympics Massachusetts are changing the way the world sees individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Soldevilla proudly donates a portion of our profits to support our local Special Olympics and volunteer our time.

Larkin Motors Foundation

Larkin Motors Foundation is a veteran-operated charitable organization that helps veterans in Massachusetts get back on the road safely with complimentary vehicle repairs. Their ultimate goal is to have shops nationwide providing vehicle repairs free of charge to all veterans in need.

The Soldevilla team helps raise funds for Larkin Motors Foundation and are donors to their cause.
